The shop began over a century ago as a boutique appropriately called “Au Parrain Genereux“ (The Generous Godfather), specializing in sugar almonds and candies for baptisms, communions, weddings?
Inspite of successive transformations, the boutique has remained in the same location: 21 rue du Bourg, in the heart of the center city of Dijon, former capital of the Dukes of Burgundy.
Since 1985, Catherine Gillotte has been in charge of sales for the shop on rue du Bourg, aided by a dynamic group of salesgirls. Fabrice calls her the orchestrator, as she attends to the presentation of the products in the display windows and creates a special, welcoming atmosphere: a “Temple of delicacies“.
