These authentic marvels, each distinctively sublime, are in fact very reasonably priced (60 euros per kilo), but don’t forget the Terroir de Bourgogne with four delicious fruit ganaches presented in a box (34 euros for a 470 g box or 39 euros for a 570 g box), and the charming wooden box filled with “Canaima” pearls from superb Venezuelan cocoa beans. Before leaving the boutique, don’t resist the temptation of trying the “Croquets” crisps, another flavourful novelty shaped like a shortbread cookie with almonds, hazelnuts, fleur de sel, and spices or coconut (13 euros for a 430 g box, not to mention the pure chocolate or pistachio-chocolate macaroons. These tender delicacies, though strong in cocoa, simply melt in your mouth. The Cock d’Or (Golden Cock) discerned in 1992 is merited more than ever !
